Protecting nature one step at a time

Hello, I’m Ali Prangnell. Sussex born-and-bred, I grew up on the edge of Ashdown Forest, and a childhood spent exploring and riding on the Forest sparked my passion for nature and the outdoors.

My love for the outdoors and protecting it (and us) in the face of a climate and biodiversity crisis led me to study Countryside Management at Plumpton College in East Sussex. Having achieved a distinction, I now combine those skills with my extensive experience in business, marketing and management. I have a particular interest in woodland management and hedgerows.

I am a Trustee for the Ashdown Forest Foundation and a member of the National Hedgelaying Society and the South East Hedgelaying Society. I am also DBS checked.
